Taking place from 9-11 May 2025, this Congress is your opportunity to engage with educators, researchers, and practitioners from across Europe and beyond, united by a shared commitment to nurturing the next generation of learners.
The theme for this year’s Congress is “Montessori: Out of the Box,” reflecting a call to think beyond traditional methods of education and explore new frontiers. We believe that Montessori’s timeless principles can evolve to meet the needs of our ever-changing world – embracing creativity, sustainability, and inclusivity.

Montessori: Out of the Box
At Montessori Europe 2025, we celebrate the deconstructed box—the symbol of this year’s theme. The logo, featuring an open and abstracted box, represents a breakaway from traditional educational boundaries. It is a visual metaphor for the creativity, flexibility, and innovation that are hallmarks of Montessori education today. Just as Montessori education encourages students to explore the world with curiosity and openness, the deconstructed box invites all of us—educators, students, and communities—to think beyond limits and imagine new possibilities.

The Montessori Europe 2025 Congress will take place at the Clarion Hotel The Hub, a premier destination located in the vibrant heart of Oslo. This modern hotel has been carefully chosen to align with the Out of the Box theme and to support Montessori Europe’s commitment to sustainability and innovative educational practices. The Hub is perfectly situated in the very center of Oslo, just a short stroll from Oslo Central Station and the main bus terminal, making it incredibly easy to reach by train or bus.
